Mem Day Weekend

Left for Michigan on Friday afternoon only to hit some crazy shit traffic, no surprises though. Got up there at around 6:30, bbq'ed and then a storm rolled in that sounded like a tsunami was rolling over the bluff. Dad and I were maybe standing 2 ft away from one another and had to yell to each other just to hear the other one. Woke up Sat morning and could tell from the feeling in the back of my throat that I was sick. Went to the Breakfast Bay to eat and then went into town by myself. I had to go alone b/c I was up before everyone else. I went to this Archery store. Jesus, I never realized how backwoods Coloma really was. The guy behind the counter asked if I was into bow hunting. I gave him a look like are you fucking serious, I'm the only guy in here without fatigues on, what do you think? He told me I should try, I told him it was a little to congested where I live to bow hunt, although I wouldn't mind putting a couple through the shadies. Who knows, may have to go back and get a bow afterall. I did buy this shirt from the store that said on the back, "Looking for love in all the wrong places" and it had an image of these deer frolicking in the woods sniffing each others asses (mating time) and this guy is perched in a tree with his bow cocked back with this shit eating grin on his face about to smother some bambies. Awesome white trash shirt.

Then I laid on the beach for most of the day, got real sick and slept until Sunday late morning. I did break my fever but headed back home on Sunday. I had a date with Rebecca that night. She was so cool, she even got me an early bday gift -- Dave Chappelle Season II. Fuckin' eh, very cool girl. This was on a first date too. I don't know anyone who would do that. We went to Bob San, had a great dinner, then to Moonshine, then back to my place for a cocktail. I walked in the bar area and my roommate had left all his leftover bbq food out on the bar and it was covered in ants. What a fucking bust! Needless to say, that sort of ripped the romance out of that night. I'm lucky she still wanted to go out with me after something like that. Afterwards we watched a couple segments of Chappelle. The evening ended pretty innocently. I like her so I didn't want to force anything, just set it up for a 2nd date.

Monday, didn't do too much except clean on the rooftop. Jen and Jessica came over to lay out, it was fun having their company up there. That night, I hung out with Kasha. She's nice but a little too goofy for my tastes. The deal breaker on her was that she's a bad kisser. And if her dry humping is any indication of what else would be awaiting, I'll pass. It's too bad b/c she has a rocking body, she just doesn't know how to use it and I'm not going to be the one to teach her. If you can't kiss, I'm not interested.
