Low Key Week and Weekend

Nothing too exciting going on this weekend. I think today is going to be one of the last nice days in Chicago before Mother Nature decides blow snow and ice out of her asshole at us for the next 4 months. To commemorate such an occasion, my bro and I have decided to go play tennis after work today and then head back to our old stomping grounds in Oak Park to get some chow over at Mickey's. I'm sure the remainder of the night will be spent making frequent visits to the porcelain palace but who knows, I could get lucky.

Tomorrow afternoon, I'm having a group over to play Mex Dominoes then we'll see what happens. Sunday, I'm going to go try shop for some work clothes and catch some football. So nothing great going on but I am trying to stay out of partying for awhile.

What else has been going on? Not much outside of work. On Wednesday night, I was elected to sit on the auxiliary Board of this charitable organization that helps abused kids find good homes. It's still early with the group but I'm excited to see what kind of fundraising and charity events we can organize.

Mexican Dominoes... it's really easy and fun to play, especially if you have an afternoon to kill with some buddies.

You can pick it up at any store like Target, Kmart, probably Walmart, I don't know what you have around you. All you need is a double 12s domino set and then buy the actual game separate. It's pretty cheap. Check it out.

It's been so warm for November! And btw, I think it's rude too when people just drop out of blogging without warning the regular readers. I only get 60 some odd hits a day and probably have a core of about 15 readers, but if I ever stop blogging I'll definitely do a "farewell" post to wrap things up.
