More V-Day Surprises

So I just come to find out that my flowers didn't even make it... again. That shouldn't come as any surprise. I cancelled the order, I'm sure she wouldn't have picked them up anyways since those idiots couldn't find the place. I guess it's better that way seeing that she didn't think the day was all that special anyways. I know I didn't place all that much emphasis on it b/c I don't want to come across as some cheesy guy but our lives move so fast everyday that sometimes, it's good to have a special day where you can take a timeout and show someone how much you really care for them. Just growing up in that environment where my dad wasn't around all that much when I was little but one thing, no matter where he was or what he was doing, he was always up at the crack of dawn on Valentine's morning making the family heart shaped pancakes. And maybe when I was little, I didn't appreciate it as much as I should have, but now being older, I understand how special of an occasion that was and I hope one day to be able to do the same thing for my family.

God, it really pisses me off that those flowers didn't make it again. Can I get a break over here sometime?
