Sun is Shining, but not on the Illini

The Illini lost yesterday. I still get to collect, however, my prize is substantially smaller than it would have been if the I L L could have only pulled it off. Plus, Chicago would be in much better spirits today. At least no one turned over any cars or when on a crazy shooting spree. Well, according to the news, I guess some guy did but that was in Hobart, IN. Probably related to Lizzy or maybe one of her 19 brothers or whatever it was. Jeez, what a freak.

Hit the gym right after work yesterday, felt good. Brought my stuff to do it again today.

Threw in the towel on the other fight yesterday. It was a losing battle and a lost cause. Even though I called the hospital to find out no one was there by that name, I still hope she wouldn't lie about something like that and I do believe her on that front. I know her dad means a tremedous amount to her and I really hope everything works out for him. Amaya G, he needs you to be there and be strong for him now. My prayers go out to him and her family.

Well, things are a bit quiet here this week. The weather is nice and I'm feeling good today. Supposed to get up to the mid-70s today. It was so nice to see people walking around yesterday. That's one thing that people in Chicago don't take for granted is nice weather b/c there's not a lot of it. It gets remotely nice and everyone and their mother is out doing something.

Need to contact LB today so I can get the hell out of dodge.
