Saturday Night Cabin Fever
Be, excited, be, be excited!
Juice by Sarah, juice by Sarah, whooooooaaaa Sarah!
I said hot damn, Jennifer Connelly looks so fuckin good in that movie, that is until she's all junked out. And Ellen Berstyn's (sp?) is amazing. I think she even won best supporting actress that year but I'm not sure. It's on IFC right now, I guess that's why I'm commenting on it. IFC is probably my favorite channel on tv... I'm a big movie junkie. Although, I still haven't gone to see any of the films at this year's Chicago Int'l Film Festival. Not too happy about that but I've been having issues with my recruitment effort.
Anyway, my roommate has had food poisoning since Wed night when he went out with my freaky friend Rach that he fucked from Mon night. He ended up bringing her back, they fucked, she went home, a couple hours later, he shit his bed, and threw up for the next 2 days. Poor guy. On Thurs night, we were talking about Rach and he told me how (and I've been there before in a similar situation) whenever he thinks of Rach now, he gets sick b/c he associates her with the food poisoning. That completely sucks. You fuck someone, then you get sick right after, it's only natural to experience a little of the Pavlov's Dog theory. Ah yes, conditioned response at its best.
So Friday after work comes along, I hit up Ceres (of course), I get back to my place with my poor roommate laying on the couch and then I get a great idea. I guess you could say when I'm a little overserved I get a bit mischievous. I decided to call Rach and invite her over for cocktails and then not tell my roommate until she got to the door. The look on his face when she walked up the stairs was priceless. I thought he was going to yak up the 3 saltines he ate that day. Ok, maybe it was a tad evil but I thought it was pretty damn funny. So I left them and went about my own business. Didn't cause too much other trouble last night.
Tonight, I'm staying in. I really haven't been in the mood lately to hang out with people. Ah, and there's nothing better to improve a mood than to watch a little Requiem for a Dream. Maybe after this is over, I'll go listen to some Marilyn Manson to really pick up my spirits.
I'll tell you what would pick up the ole spirits would be a little Maid Marian tonight. teehee.
