Mother's Day weekend
Well, this is a message that I wrote to Rebecca this morning. It's just easier to copy/paste her message instead of try to recap my weekend all over again............................................
My weekend was pretty low key. It was my best friends bday on Friday but we just sort of chilled at my place watching the Bulls game and bs'ing with one another. I fell asleep on the couch but was woken up at around 2 to an after hours at my place with some drunk girl poking me to get up and join the festivities. Since I'm such a gracious host, I joined the group for a couple hours. Rebecca, please keep in mind when you're buying that if you have a bar in your place, people will naturally gravitate towards it. It's good on a lot of levels b/c I love having people over but sometimes it works against you as well.
Saturday, I laid low with my brother. We spent a good part of the afternoon trying to fix the bubble jets on the hottub. The rest of the day was spent watching movies and just hanging out.
Sunday, my brother and I made dinner for Mother's Day which we hosted at my place. It was a lot of fun.
That's awesome that you're going up to Mad-town for graduation. A lot of my friends were on the Track team up there. They graduated around 2001, don't know if you hung around with any of those guys. They used to live at "The Church" in 1999. That's where I spent the NYE of my life, so fun.
I would also say the best graduation party I went to was a couple years ago up there. My buddies parents rented a whole Bed & Breakfast with a bunch of rooms so everyone had a place to stay. We rented a dj, had a full bar, tons of people... yeah, we lasted all of about 2 hours until the owner of the B&B came and kicked us all out. She even started going through the party confiscating bottles of alcohol. So we all moseyed (sp?) on over to that place where you can buy the shark bowls. It was a very dangerous night for kids, parents, anyone in our group but it was so much fun. You're going to have a great time this weekend, I'm so jealous.
Well, now that you have the history of my Madison experiences (like you wanted to read all that), I'll let you get going. Lets catch up when you get back, can't wait to hear how things went.
